    Usher: Adults and youth in teams assisting in worship; Monthly rotation  
    Acolyte: Grades 3 through 6—light the candles to begin worship; Monthly
    Greeter: Great family activity; Great service project; Once every three months
    Scripture Reading: Read scripture in worship; Once every two months
    TV Ministry: Join a team then watch your work on Channel 1301; Monthly
    Tech Team: Tech aspects of worship, including Powerpoint and Livestream 
    CoHost/Liturgist: Leadership in worship service; Once every two months
    Livestream Chat Host: Hosts Sunday worship chat and post links; Sundays.
    Café Central: Provide refreshments and fellowship between worship services; Monthly
    Van Driver: Enabling the homebound to attend worship; Rotating schedule
    Van Escort: Rides along to assist Van Driver
    Counters: Another great team sport-counting our weekly offerings; Monthly
    Worship Council: Worship and special service planning; Monthly
    Communion Stewards: Preparing and serving at the open table for all; Monthly

       Music Ministry
    Chancel Choir: Accomplished or amateur, come and sing; Weekly or Seasonal  
    Special Music: Voice or instrumental; Solo or accompanied
    Children’s Choir: Preschool to Grade 6; young stars singing great tunes; Sundays
    Hand Bell Choir: Cappella Ringers/men and women; Festivo Ringers/intergenerational
    Praise Band: Our own contemporary band - Living Water; Guitars, drums, vocals

    Fellowship and Service
    Guest Relations Task Force: Helping people feel welcomed and connected to Central
    Missions Council: Planning ministry in our community, our nation, and our world; Monthly
    Shepherd’s Supper Team: Feeding the hungry and lonely of the community; MonthlyClothing Center: Offering free clothing for neighborhood families; Weekly
    Eucharistic Ministry: Communion and fellowship for our homebound members; Monthly
    Blood Drive Volunteer: Arrange space, cook breakfast; Bi-monthly Saturdays
    Lukens-Jackson Committee: Arranging summer camp scholarships; Seasonally
    Fellowship Council: Coordination of Fellowship opportunities and events; Monthly
    Parish Visitors: Caring for the hospitalized and homebound with visits, cards, and prayer.
    United Methodist Women: Women gathered for mission and fellowship; Monthly
    United Methodist Men: Men gathered for mission and fellowship; Monthly
    Prayer Chain: Needed prayers communicated through phone call or email
    Care Committee: Reviews attendance & keeps in touch with members; Bi-monthly
    Prayer Project: Contacts every member once a year by mail or phone call; Monthly
    Bereavement Committee: Providing meals for the bereaved once permitted; Occasional

    Office and Administration
    Newsletter: Assemble and prepare newsletter for mailing; Monthly
    Office help: Assist in in the office as needed
    Website: Central UMC on the internet; develop content and keep website current

    Education for All Ages
    Faith Formation volunteers: A team of adults assisting staff with children and youth; Sundays.
    Junior High/Confirmation: Grades 7 and 8, learning about what it means to be United Methodist people of faith. Dates TBA.
    Senior High: Grades 9 to 12 in fellowship, learning and mission; Dates and events TBA
    Adult Sunday School: Lead or Assist; long-term or short-term
    Education Council: Assisting the Council and staff with planning and events.

    Leadership
    Lay Leader: Assist Pastors in coordinating ministry and mission opportunities for members
    Green Ministry Steward: Oversee Central’s stewardship of natural resources
    Trustees: Oversight and care of church properties; Monthly
    Staff/Parish Relations: Liaison between congregation and staff; usually Bimonthly
    Finance Committee: Stewardship of our financial resources; Monthly
    Church Council: Committee leaders and lay members creating vision and ministry; Monthly
    Allocations Committee: Administration of Central’s discretionary funds; Monthly
